How do I upgrade an existing Visyualeyez system to AMX to support the Morely Max integration?
To upgrade an existing AMX system, you will need to purchase an upgrade key from Drax Technology. A support contract will be required if the AMX software is not the latest version.
How do I reprogramme a ZX network?
If the new network has the same panel, loop, and device numbers as the old ZX network, then you can change the panels on the existing programming over to the new Max range in settings. Users can also have a mix of panels if a phased upgrade is taking place.
Are there any additional hardware considerations?
If the Max Panel is 15 meters, away from AMX additional Smart Watch/cube hardware may be needed to establish an IP connection over longer distances. Please contact Drax Technology for support.
How do I install a new system?
The AMX PC can be connected directly to the onboard port RS232 of the panel. Where the distance to the panel is greater than 15m, Drax Technology IP-based hardware will be required to connect to a local IT network or internet-based connection. If you require a bespoke design engineered for your requirements, please enquire further.
