Drax Technology were able to enhance Oxford Brookes University’s alarm reporting system, alongside our technical partner Trinity Fire and Security.
The initial goal was to remotely link campus buildings' fire systems to the main security office. Over nine years, Drax Technology have developed a mobile notification app and upgraded the system to a dual-path configuration with 4G routers for failover, with the app planned to be expanded campus-wide. The collaboration improved safety measures, centralized monitoring, and provided redundancy for uninterrupted alarm transmission in critical buildings.
