Drax Technology were approached by Southampton University to improve their alarm monitoring and response capabilities.
The university had multiple campuses and wanted a system to transmit alarm signals to their security room quickly. Drax Technology provided software, hardware, and graphics programming to their maintenance partner Premier Fire, who handled the installation. Inputs from various alarm systems were connected to fire alarm panels, and Drax Technology SMaRT Watches were used for signal transmission. The software installations allowed real-time reporting and graphical visualisation of alarms, enabling efficient response. The solution enhanced alarm visibility, streamlined transmission, provided real-time monitoring, and offered scalability for future expansion along with ongoing support being provided by Drax Technology's support contract.
